New Store Update!

Dear Reader,

We moved the bookstore! Here’s a quick update for those who are curious:

  • We will not let the cardboard win. It is trying to overpower us, but we are breaking down boxes, hauling them out by the carload. There have been a few days we needed reinforcements - shout out to Antoine and Clonel from Task Rabbit, we love you!

  • We’re open online + for pick-ups. We might still be digging out of cardboard and waiting on the finishing touches from the store renovation, but we are OPEN online. Your online orders help us keep our team employed during the move. Thank you.

  • The goal is early April for reopening for in-person browsing. Our designers and team are still working their magic in the new space, but we’re determined to be open by early next month!

If you’re interested in volunteering with us (bonus points if you’re vaccinated!) and/or contributing here on the Old Town Books blog, please fill out this form.

Prerequisites: Must enjoy alphabetizing and breaking down cardboard boxes (see point #1).

More soon, when the (literal) dust has settled.
